About
Cooper Radio Collective merges and fosters the various interests, practices, and perspectives of all students at The Cooper Union within its development and broadcast through radio.cooper.edu. Established in 2022 by School of Art students Camille Levy and Julia Kim, CRC aims to elevate and bring together the community of Cooper through the act of listening.
Transmitted via digital stream, our live broadcast features 25 to 30 hosts per semester and runs from 6pm to midnight every weekday of the school year. From class-integrated projects to live events, the collective also facilitates sonic endeavors on expanded scales.
We are housed at 30 Cooper Square, where hosts return weekly to live broadcast in our radio room using provided and/or personal equipment to bring in guests, consecrate a mixtape, or whatever else may be of utility to drone into the night.

Interested in hosting your own radio show? We’re interested in, though not limited to, your curiosities, greivances, fixations, and unidentifable sounds. An online application will be promoted in the beginning of every semester to gather applicants, so stay vigilant.
For any host or team positions, look for posters around campus, check @cooperadiocollective and here, for announcements and links. If you have any questions or ideas to share in the meantime, send an email, a message, or find us around.
